The person we are looking for

At Pappare’ the coffee bar manager is a most important position, as we take our coffee very seriously.

Experience and skills

Besides a multi-year work experience in the field, we require these skills and competence:

  • Knowledge about coffee and its characteristics
  • Ability to work with professional coffee machinery
  • Latte art skills
  • Knowledge of different coffee extraction methods – chemex, V60, aero press, cold brew

Job requirements and tasks

In carrying out their tasks, the coffee bar manager has to:

  • deliver an excellent service to customers
  • be mindful of details
  • make sure of keeping a constant high standard, quality-wise
  • meet the waiting times that are set for every moment of the day
  • guarantee a correct set-up and organization of the work place, keeping with the high standards of cleanliness and order
  • keep regular and correct maintenance of the coffee making machinery
  • manage the stock and equipment in order to assure an efficient service at any time
  • work as a team with the waiting staff, helping out when needed
  • always greet customers in a cordial, friendly and professional way and take an interest in their customer experience and satisfaction
  • represent Pappare’ at their best, in every moment of the day

Are you the person we are looking for?

The applicant must have good communication skills, a predisposition to interpersonal relations and team work, strong work ethics. The applicant must show dedication, sense of responsibility, respect and good care of his/her person, of the customers, coworkers and company.

Fluent English is preferred.

Refresher training courses will be held periodically.

Wage and contractual framework will be proportionate to experience and qualifications.
